Fall out boy story #1

"Tickets?" The Security guy asked. Sally and Fran waved their tickets in front
of his face.
"Ok, go ahead" He replied.
There must have been at least 600 people in there, and the concert didn't start
for another half an hour.
"Fran, what time is it?" Sally asked.
"6:30pm" Fran replied. The late shows are always better.
"HELLO FANS, AND WELCOME TO THE LIVE FALL OUT BOY CONCERT 2006!" A voice boomed
over the loud speaker. "BEFORE THE SHOW STARTS, WE HAVE AN ANNOUCMENT. TWO LUCKY
PEOPLE WITH THE RIGHT TICKET NUMBERS WILL RECEIVE BACKSTAGE PASSES, AND A WEEK
TO OUR 5 STAR HOTEL, FREE OF CHARGE!"
"Whoa, this is a bit sudden. Oh well, what's the chance of actually winning?"
Sally asked Fran, sarcastically. Sarcasm rocks.
"A billion to one." Fran sighed.
"AND...THE LUCKY WINNERS OF THIS AMAZING PRIZE ARE...."

*drum rolls*
"TICKET NUMBERS 634 AND 635!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!"
Sally and Fran looked down at their tickets. Holy Crap. Ticket
numbers 634 and 635.
"Oh My god!" Sally screamed, as a guy came up to them and handed them their
prizes.
"Talk about once in a fucking life time!!" Fran shouted.
"Watch the language." The guy said, walking off.
Ok, this was like, the best day ever, and the concert hadn't even started yet.
Yay!

"That was the best concert ever!!!" Sally screamed.
"And we get to go back stage!" Fran said.
Sally stared down at her back stage pass hanging from her neck. Shit. How can
you forget something like that?!
"Hey hey hey. No going backstage kids." Another guard said.
"We have passes. Duh" Fran growled. Yay for emos!
"Ok, sorry."

Fall out boy story #2

You shouted along with Pete as he finished his monologue at the end of "Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying". You had it memorized word for word; it was your favorite part of their new album, just because Pete sounded so passionate.
"And this is you and me! And me and you! Until we've got nothing left!" You started cheering along with the rest of the crowd as Pete said the last line and walked off the stage with Patrick, Joe, and Andy.
"This is the most amazing night of my life!" you said to Kacie as the two of you started to walk outside.
"What?!" Kacie yelled, obviously having gone temporarily deaf from being too close to the speakers.
"I said that this is the best night of my life!" you said a little louder and closer to her ear.
"Huh? You like to get high on my wife? What?" she asked with a confused look on her face.
You couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Never mind," you managed to say between laughs. You felt absolutely exhilarated. Things had been going amazingly well for you lately. You had just gotten engaged a month ago to your boyfriend, Ryan. The two of you had been dating for the past three years and he finally popped the question on your 25th birthday. Of course, you said yes; he was one of the two constants in your life. The other was your cousin, Kacie, who at the present moment was whining something about getting food or killing someone.
"I'm seriously about to die of starvation here!" she said melodramatically.
"Where do you wanna go?" you asked her.
"Ummm, I dunno...is there a Burger King around here?"
"I think I did see one about a mile or two down the road-"
"Awesome, I could so go for a Whopper right now. With ketchup, and mayonnaise...Oh! And pickles..."
So you started walking towards your car, tuning Kacie out as she continued describing her perfect burger. Yep, that was her; your cousin, your roommate, and your best friend. She had been at your birthday party when Ryan proposed. And then when you won tickets from a local radio station to see your favorite band, Fall Out Boy, you asked her to come with you since you knew she loved them as much as you did. So here you both were, basking in the happiness only moshing could give.
As you both got into the car, you started searching through your CDs until you found something to listen to.
"What no more FOB?" Kacie asked with a smirk.
"I think you've had enough of Patrick for one night," you reply as you put Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge into your CD player.
"Oh no. You can never have too much Patty," she says all dreamy-eyed. You both start rocking out to "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" as you pull out of the parking lot heading towards Burger King. How could your life get any better?
so...you're a Fall Out Boy freak too? (kacie: yeah and i am too, i'm just not really in the story yet...BUT I WILL BE!)
As you pull into a parking space at Burger King, you hear your cellphone start playing "Dance, Dance": the ringtone you had assigned for Ryan.
"It's Ryan," you told Kacie. "Could you go ahead and order a double cheeseburger for me? Without pickles?"
"Sure, but don't stay out here too long. I'll miss you too much...HI RYAN!" she said loudly as you answered the phone.
"Inside now, Burger King whore!" you commanded laughing. She obeyed you as you turned your attention to your fiance. "Hey, babe, miss me?"
"Of course I do. Now what's this about Burger King whores?" he asked and you could tell there was a smile on his face.
"Never you mind, dear. Just taking care of a little business," you said nonchalantly.
"Should I be worried?" he asks still smiling.
"Nah, it's just a fling. She means nothing to me." He started laughing then. "So, other than making sure of my fidelity, what were your intentions for this call?"
"I just wanted to call and check up on you, see how the concert went-"
"It was absolutely amazing! I know how I said they were awesome before, but they are even MORE awesome live!" you told him excitedly.
"I'm glad you had a good time. And I can't wait until you get back tomorrow. What time are you planning on leaving?"
"About 11 o'clock, and then an hour for lunch...we should be back around four or four-thirty."
"Great. Well call me before you leave okay?"
"All right hon. I'll see you tomorrow! Love you."
"I love you, too. Oh, and tell Cheetos I said hi."
"I will. Bye."
"Bye baby," Ryan said and hung up.
Burger King whores? (me: yeah i used to be one, got a problem with that?)
You put your phone back in your bag as you got out of the car. When you walked into Burger King, Kacie immediately started yelling, "Kathleen, over here!" and waving you down even though the only other patrons in the restaurant were an elderly black couple. So you walked over to the booth quickly so as not to draw more attention to yourself, but you couldn't stop the smile from spreading across your face.
"You are such a loser," you told her as you sat down across from her.
"I know, but you love me and that's what matters," Kacie said reaching her hand across the table to hold yours.
You jerked your hand out of hers and whispered loudly, "I told you, not in public!"
"Sorry!" she whispered and put her hand back in her lap. A few seconds later you both burst into laughter.
"We must really freak people out sometimes," you tell her laughing. You both start eating your meals.
wait aren't you two related? (me: did you not read in the first part? we're kissin' cousins! ...just kidding)
Dinner was uneventful, the two of you discussing the concert and how amazing it was. Of course, every other word that issued from Kacie's mouth seemed to be "Patrick", pointing out to you every slight gesture he had made, every look he had given, and every word that he had said... You could say she had a crush. As for yourself, you thought all the guys in the band were good-looking, but you didn't bother with becoming obsessed with celebrities when you had someone like Ryan. You really believed that he was the only man you'd ever need.
So you listened as she tried again to convince you that Patrick had winked at her during "Sugar, We're Going Down".
"I swear! It was at the end of the song when he said 'a loaded God-complex'! He looked right at me and winked!" she finished excitedly, looking into your eyes to see if you believed her.
"It was probably because of your hair and the fact that you were waving to him throughout the entire show," you told her. She smirked with the satisfaction of having convinced you of the truth of her anecdote.
"Yeah, it probably was. But still, he noticed me..." She drifted off with a sigh of contentment.
"Well I just thought the whole thing was greatness, but unfortunately it ends tomorrow. So calm down and help me clean up," you say matter-of-factly. She paused for a second.
"You suck," she said.
"I know. I can't believe you're not used to it by now," you say sounding surprised. She laughed and picked up her tray to throw her trash away.
You're both standing at the trash can and you're about to dump the trash off of your try, when you hear Kacie gasp and say quietly, "Oh my god."
"What?" you ask looking up. Just then you drop your tray into the trash can as your mouth falls open. For just then your favorite band of all time, Fall Out Boy, walked into Burger King.
oh my god I would die if that happened! (me: well that would really suck for you now wouldn't it?)

Fall out boy story #3

I lay on my bed, mind drifting to otherpeople, while in the background Honorable Mention hardly sounded. Patrick Patrick Patrick. Live, in concert. What a beautiful sight. But then the moment became too perfect, the sight too good to be true, and the next thing I knew, my mom was yelling at me to hurry up and get downstairs cause The Posse had arrived.
The Posse is just the nickname a few of my friends and I have labeled ourselves with. Sam, Becky, Katie, Leslie, and Mackenzie. We all had to leave, to pick up another Obssessor. Now, as you can tell, Obssessors is another group, with one difference. There are only two members, and one was me. The other was Jackie. Jackie and I had been friends since sixth grade. Now that we were in college, it seemed like it had been too long. And it was about to become too short. I only had a few more weeks before I had to leave again, to go back to West Chester. What a thought.
Bye mom, love you, I shouted as I walked out. I ran onto the bus (well, it really was Mackenzies tour bus. She had become a famous author during high school. We were all left in the dust) and sat down in my favorite seat. Until I realized Jackie was in it. Oh my God, Jackie! I screamed. I thought we were picking you up! And I thought you were gonna sit somewhere else, she cracked. Mikey was gonna sit here, but it looks like you took his spot. Woops! Well, Mikey can have his seat back! I shouted. Are you ready to rum-ble! Like chill, its just a concert! Becky said as she layered on the lip-gloss. That girl is seriously in love with that stuff. Too bad it cant produce a rock for her. I smiled when that thought came to mind.

"Oh my God, you can NOT be serious! Katie shrieked. This is Fall Out Boys reunion concert! This is the concert when Patrick is FINALLY gonna realize that I am the one! The one he needs to run away from, Sam muttered and rolled her eyes. Then she went back to her book.

No way! I crowed! Youre reading The Boy With A Thorn In His Side! Well, if I ever get introduced to him, cough-cough Jackie, then I need to know what I am gonna talk to him about. Fine, Ill introduce you. But youre gonna need to lay off Mikey! I was never even on him! I certainly hope not! Friends. Arent they absolutely the best?

"What's the Boy With A Thorn In His Side? asked Leslie. Its a book Pete wrote, Jackie answered for her. Wow, I didnt know he could even write! joked Leslie. Leslie is such a joker! Shes always been that way. And especially hateful towards Fall Out Boy. We practically had to threaten her with getting her Sexy Rooster Fan Club membership rebuked. That always works. That was so mean, it wasnt even funny! Jackie snapped. Well, you guys can stop bickering, cause were at the Ways house, Mackenzie broke in. Oh my God, how do I look! asked Jackie. Is my hair okay? Teeth? Clothes? Well, we certainly dont want you taking those off! I joked. I got an evil glare in return. Geez, cant you take a joke? Not when it comes to Mikey! Sam whispered. She got smacked in the head for that one. Hey, why you little.! Sam began. Not now Sam! Mikeys coming up right now, and I need to look my best! Oh my God, its always you and your looks, and Mikey! Whats so special about Mikey? A lot of things, a voice answered from the doorway. Or should I say bus way?

Oh my God, Mikey! Jackie screamed. Who else would it be? asked Sam. The scariest death glare ever from Jackie surprisingly managed to shut Sam up. But you know Sam, always getting the last word. Oh, I wouldnt be going there Anyway, hello sexy, Mikey said. Oh, thank you so much! said Mackenzie, who magically managed to slide between our legs to get to Mikey. Mikey just laughed. Not that your fine, but I was talking to Jackie, he said. Oh, well, just call me up when you need me. Just shout hey sexy and Ill be there, Mackenzie replied, looking a little hurt. As she walked away, she had the nerve to turn around and blow Mikey a kiss. Dang, that girl is gonna get it, Jackie muttered. Well, look on the bright side, baby! Mikey enthusiastically said. Im here! And in dire need of a seat! He sat down on Jackies lap immediately. Jackie just laughed. Then he fell down as the bus began to move. Ouch! Mikey said as he hit the floor. Youd think youd be used to moving tour buses! Jackie said. Hes been on tour buses before? asked Leslie. DUH! shouted Jackie. Hes the bassist in MCR! MCR? Leslie questioned. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! we all shouted, then fell back laughing. So, thats a band, right? Yes, Leslie! Just making sure! Oh my God, were here! screamed Katie. Well, it was more of a shriek. Either way, it hurt my ear. I swear I lost hearing in that ear. Oh my God, and Joes coming on the bus! Mikey shouted. Everyone looked at him weird. Hes my hero, he explained. Ah, we all said. Hey, what do you know, a tour bus filled with lovely ladies! said Joe. And Mikey! Mikey added. We all laughed.

So what brings you guys out here tonight? Joe asked as he lit up a cigarette. Like, Fall Out Boy! Katie said. Im Katie! Cool, Im Joe. Dont you know those things will kill you eventually? Leslie quizzically asked Joe. Umyeahbut theyre too hard to break away from. And I thought I had problems, Leslie whispered. Well, Ill just pretend I didnt hear that. Leslies face turned red. Then Andy came onto the bus. Oh my God, who is that, he is so fine! Becky asked. Thats Andy, Jackie said. Ooh la-la! Mackenzie said. Back off girl! Becky said. Im sorry, am I in the middle of things? Andy asked. Well, then Ill be going Oh my God Mackenzie, you scared him off! Becky screamed. SHUT UP! I yelled. Everyone stopped and stared. Thank you, now if you didnt realize this, all of the Sexy Rooster Fan Club members need to get off the bus. Why? asked Katie. Cause Patrick is walking very close to the bus! Oh my God! Katie screamed (well, shrieked again) and ran off the bus. I just laughed. That was for that e-mail prank you guys sent to me in the seventh grade. Wow, you really hold a grudge a long time, Joe commented. Yep, I breezily replied. Then Katie came onto the bus. That was not funny. Yes it was. Whatever. Hey, Joe, we need to go set up, ya know? said another voice from the doorway. And it was Patrick.

Patrick! Katie and I chorused. I ran over and hugged him. Katie ran over and kissed him on the cheek. All I can say is grr Oh my God, we havent seen you in forever! I said happily. I mean, what Patrick Stump obssessor wouldnt be happy? I know, its been a few years. He laughed. What a sexy laugh

So, what are you guys here for? he asked. I gave him my best you-are-so-slow expression. Umlets think for a minute hereour favorite band, and favorite person, is having a reunion concert, and we really miss himany bright ideas yet? Um, well, no, but its great to see you! he said. I just slapped my forehead. Duh, I knew that! Im not that slow! he suddenly said. You fooled me! said Mikey. We all laughed. Well, Joe and I have to go set up, but were having a party afterwards, and the other guys would love to see you again, said Patrick. Or meet you, he quickly added. Sounds good to me! Mackenzie said. Good, and well see you there! said Joe as he lit up another cigarette. Then they walked out. UmIve been wondering this for a whilebut how do you know these guys? asked Leslie. Well, I began. It happened eight years ago

I was so excited because my parents had given me two tickets to the Fall Out Boy concert, so I could take one friend, and Jackie already had tickets of her own, so I could take Katie. Well, we all had a blast at the concert, and were standing in line for autographs. When it was our turn, we got our autographs, and Jackie introduced herself and us. Then they asked us if we played any instruments. Jackie said that she played the bass, Katie said she sang, and I told them that as soon as I had saved up enough money, I was gonna buy a drum set and take lessons. So then they offered us right then and there to teach us. Patrick taught Katie some singing tips, and when he was done, he went over to help Andy teach me how to play the drums. Afterwards, we pretty much had to drag Jackie away from Pete and his bass. Then we exchanged numbers/ e-mail/AIM and left. Weve kept touch with them ever since. Cool! said Leslie. But I cant believe they e-mailed you guys back. I mean, they have millions of fans she stopped when she saw the glares aimed at her. Well, Leslie does have a point, Sam offered. True, true, said Jackie. Hey, I hear Andy beginning to play, maybe we shouldI dont know go and get seats? asked an impatient Becky. Shurg, youre right! We gots ta go! I said. We all ran out of the tour bus just as Patrick began to sing.

The concert was so amazing! I know, how many concerts have I ever been to, but that was so awesome, it was probably the best ever. Then we had to head over for autographs *wink wink*. We were the 51st in line. I was so bored in the line I counted, until Mikey got into a fight with a drunk. Then I counted the number of swings the drunk gave. Poor Mikey, he hurt his hands beating up the drunk. Well, it was our turn before we knew it (not) and I walked right up to Patrick and winked. So did Katie. He just laughed. Hey guys! said Pete. Oh my God, Pete, how are you? asked Jackie. Fine doll, fine, he replied. OW! Oh, yeah, this is Sam, said a pained Jackie as a mischievously looking Sam stepped forward. Nice to meet you Sam, Im Pete, said Pete. Hi, Sam said. I was reading your book During the concert? Wellyeahsorry, I like to read and am not the biggest fan I said, Cough cough. Gosh, something was up with those evil glares that night. Anyways, I was reading your book. I would have hated to be you during those nightmares! Yeah, they really creeped me out, too. This went on for five minutes, because after 5 Becky butted in. Yeah, um, guys, its getting late Oh, hey, well, heres the party address, Pete said as he scribbled it on a glossy photo of the band. Great, well see you there! said Mikey, and he blew a kiss on his way out. We just laughed.

In the bus, we all crammed around Mikey, trying to find out just where the party was. Its at Jackie said as she tried to look over Mikeys shoulder. Atthe Best Western Hotel. Hmm, I said. That could hold some possibilities. Sam just whacked me on my head. Wrong thoughts, wrong thoughts! she shouted over the mass of people. Just visualize Sam, just visualize. Oh my God, visualize! Katie excitedly said. I remember that! Yep, and boy am I visualizing! I received another blow to my cranium. Gosh, they had no idea how much it hurt!

You guys are so immature! Becky stated. Well, excuse me, Miss All-Over-Andy! I said. Becky just harrumphed. Now, if youll excuse me, I need to get changed for the party! I declared. Hey, so do I! said Leslie. And so do we! chorused everyone else. Theres no way we all can fit in the bathroom! pointed Leslie. True said Jackie. Mikey, you go into the bathroom while we all change! Okay, I had to piss anyways. TMI, Mikey, TMI. After what seemed like forever, we were all ready and had arrived. Oh, they have a pool! I exclaimed. No more wrong thoughts! Sam warned. Boy, do I want to swim! laughed Katie. With me! Leslie said, and then burst out laughing. So did we. Well, Mikey, you can come out now! sang Mackenzie. I was wondering if I ever would come out! Whoa, look at the paparazzi! Lets just strut out stuff! I said, and walked out of the tour bus like a model.

We finally made it into the hotel after what seemed like an hour. And Fall Out Boy was in the lobby waiting for us. Jeez, we thought you got lost out there! smiled Pete. I guess that is actually possible - smiling in the sense of speaking. Anyways, we all split up, Jackie and Sam with Pete, Leslie and Mikey with Joe, Becky and Mackenzie with Andy, and Katie and I with Patrick. Ladies, he said and offered us his arms. We laughed, and took them, then walked to the area where the party really was.

Fall out boy story #4

"Zoiella! Get your sorry arse down here! NOW!" Mum screamed from the kitchen of the four bedroom
house I had been living in for the past two months with my cousin Patrick and his parents (my auntie
Jannet and uncle Alfred)while mum and dad went through their divorce me and my little 5 year old
sister Sara wanted to be with mum. I hopped out of bed and ran down the steps laughing as I slipped
at the bottom, as I got up I saw Sara looking at me with her big brown eyes and her favourite teddy
bear with one eye and half a brown ear dangling from her hand. I picked her up and she nuzzeled into
my neck as she wrapped her full body around me. I walked into the kitchen with her like that.
Patrick was sitting at the breakfast bar with mum, he laughed as we walked in."You better get
yourself ready for your first day at a new school. And her first day at 'Pre." He said still with
the chuckle lingering on his lips."Crap I totally forgot!" I grabbed a oat bar for Sara and ran
upstairs.I pulled a black and silver tee over Sara's head and her cute little denim skirt on her
with a pink spotty alice band on her head. I ran a brush through her's and my hair when she said,
"Shoe's, Zoiel?""Ohhhh, sorry hon." I handed her her silver shoe's and then carried her to my room
so that I could keep an eye on her while I put my jeans and grey butterfly t-shirt. once I had
changed put my shoes and make-up on I carried Sara and her teddy down stairs. By the time we got
back to the kitchen she had curled up in my arms."Ok are you, Sara and teddy here ready to go?"
Patrick asked us."Hang on how is Sara getting to school?" I asked and looked down at into Sara's
huge brown eyes. "Our school's just down the road from her's so we can walk her to it and still be
at are's in time." Once he said that I cheered up, Sara ment the world to me and this ment that I
could make sure she got to school safely. "Ok let's get's gone." I said as I snapped the oat bar and
held half to Sara, she took it and kissed my cheek. "Hey! Do I get one?!" She leant over and snagged
a kiss on his cheek too. I smiled at my babeh sister and my amazing cousin and we all left for
school. ***"Bye babeh, see ya after school, I promise." I said giving Sara a hug and pushing her
towards the gates of the school."Bye Zoiel, love you. Bye Patty." She replied blowing us a kiss and
running into her new school. I watched to see if she made it safe then turned to Patrick and hugged
him."Whoa! What was that for?" He asked as I let him go."For letting us stay with you!" I replied
starting to walk with him."Hey thats ok. I cant wait for you to meet my friends." He said. ***At the
gates I realised how much bigger this was to my last school. I mean its not like I had never been to
a high school I'm 16 so of course I have, but the school was HUGE. "Hey, its not as big as it looks.
It gets better." Patrick whisperd into my ear. ***He walked me to the office, told me where to meet
him at lunch but he had to go to class. "Hello, and you are?" The lady behind the desk asked."Oh,
yeah, hi I'm Zoiel." I replied."Ah, yes the new Stump!" She replied with a grin."Huh, oh yeah." Mum
had changed our names back to her maiden name and I was still trying to catch onto it."Its so nice
to have one more smartie." She grinned, this time I smiled with her."So how do know where my classes
are?" I asked."We have a timetable for you. You have most of the same classes as your cousin as you
both seem to be quite smart." She said and handed me a piece of paper with a load of word on. "Your
first class is just round the corner."She added with a smile as I thanked her and left.It was'nt
that hard to find my first class. I knocked then walked in and gave the teacher my note that said
about just joining the school."Ah. The new Stump. You can go and sit with your cousin." He pointed
over to Patrick and smile, ok I will have to ask him why everyone is saying that!"Thanks sir." I
said and walked to the shell-shocked Patty-cakes."What?" I asked as I unpacked my stuff onto the
desk."Y-your smart?" He asked as I did my long black hair into a ragged pony-tail."No that's why I'm
in the top groups for all my lesson's othe than P.E and German." I said sarcasticly."Well I guess
were gonna be in the same classes then." He said with a grin. *** The next few lessons were a brezze
but no matter I was still glad when the lunch bell rang. I let my hair down and walked into the
lunch hall. I saw Patrick sitting with two other boys."Joe, Andy this is my cousin Zoiel. Zoiel
these wierdo's are my friends and band mates. Pete should be here soon but, yeah well its Pete, so,
yeah." Patrick said as I sat down next to him and smiled at the two boys. "Hi, its nice to meet
you." I shook their hands."Yeah you too." Andy said.."So I hear that your as smart as Patty-cakes?"
Joe asked and I saw Patrick turn red at his nickname. I turned and giggled lightly at him."Yup I'am
as smart as Patty-cakes... such great blackmail." I muttered the last part under my breath, Patrick
gave me one of the dirtyest death stares ever but Joe and Andy Couldnt stop laughing and I joined
them whilst smiling at Patty."Well your definatly gonna get on with Pete!" Joe said in the middle of
a second fit of laughter."Who's gonna get on with me?" A voice asked from behind me and I almost
leapt out of my skin, which made all of them fall around in histerics."Sorry Pete this is my smartie
cousin." Patrick said motioning towards me."And she's already threating black-mail agaist
Patty-cakes!" Andy said falling back into the histerics."Yup, I'am gonna like you then." Pete said.
***"Today was great Patty-cakes!" I said and had to clutch my stomach as I was shaking with
laughter."Zoiel!!!!" A smiling Sara came runnig with teddy in her at me."Sara!!!" I picked her up
and swung her around in the air and she giggled histericaly, I whispered something into her and put
her down. She ran to Patrick and swung her arms around his neck, he picked her up and then she
screamed into his ear, "PATTY-CAKES!!!! I missed you!!" Then she could'nt stop laughing and he had
to put her down because of it. "Does she do everything you tell her to." He asked through clenched
teeth, I just smilied and nodded. We walked home with me holding onto Sara's hand and Patrick
shooting me glares."Zoiel can you sit down please?" Auntie Jannet asked with a somber look on her
face.

Fall out boy story #5

I sat looking down at my hands. Patrick had been checking my wrists every morning since
he found out about me doing an Emo steriotype. Today he would find two more scars. I still went to
school even though Patrick and the others told me I really should'nt. My dad was still out there but
I did'nt care anymore there were few things he could take away from me now.
"Zoiel?" Patrick walked in to start his morning routine.
"Hey." I replied looking down at my feet. He sat down beside me and took my wrists, turned them
over. I could see his lips move silently as he counted the slice marks. Once he had finished his
shoulders slumped and he sighed. I pulled away and walked to my window, it was a window seated one
so I sat on it and pulled my knee's to my face.
"Why are you doing this?" He asked.
"You dont understand..." I said and he bent his head over.
"No you right, I dont understand. But I do understand that there is a big group of people who really
care about you and hate seeing you do this to yourself!!" He yelled and ran from the room. As soon
as he was gone I burst into fresh tears of greif and loss.

***

Pete's P.O.V...

Patrick had called us all over to his place to talk about Zoiel.
"Pete? Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked after he had told us about Zoiel cutting herself
again.
"Yeah, ok." I walked out into the hall way with him.
"Can you talk to Zoiel about this I mean its just because...you know." He was refering back to when
I had started cutting myself after my grandma and grandpa died.
"Well... ok." I sighed and walked up to Zoiel's room. I knocked and then walked in, she was sitting
on her window seat with her head in her hands crying. I closed the door and walked over to her, I
knelt down next to her and put my arms around her, she curled into me and put her arms around
me.
"Shh... I promise you one day it will get better." I said.
"How do you know?" She asked and I pulled one arm away to show her my worst wrist.
"Four years ago my Grandparents died and I started to do what your doing, belive me it ain't worth
it." I said and pulled myself up next to her on the seat.

***

Zoiel's P.OV...

Pete had stayed with me untill his mum called him home for dinner.
"Thanks Pete." I said as he walked out the door. He turned around and gave me a small smile that
didnt reach his eyes. After he left I fell asleep on the window-sill.

I woke to sound of loud laughter from my door. I looked up seeing Patrick laughing at me.
"What?" I asked.
"You-your-HAHA!" Then I realised that I was laying half off my window seat. I pulled myself up onto
my feet and glared playfully at him.
"What... do...you want?" I breathed slowly.
"The guys were just wondering if you wanted to come to band practice with us? I mean were just
coming up with lyric's today, but you dont have to come-" I cut off his ramblings.
"Yeah i would love to... and would it be okay if I help... I mean I have this book with lyric's in
that I've had since I was four..." I asked shyly, still not sure is I wanted to share my life's
(kinda) work yet.
"YEAH! That would be great!" He said pushing me towards my wardorbe. "Get dressed and meet us
downstairs." He said leaving me to change. I put on my denim jeans, and for the first time since
Sara was killed, a short sleeved t-shirt as I had no reason to hide around these people. I grabbed
my book and sat on the top step of the stairs and slid down just as all the boys came around the
corner. I landed on them and I started to laugh histerically as they just looked at me as if I had
gone crazy looked at me and then burst out laughing.
"Shall we head off now?" Patrick asked as Pete smiled and helped me to my feet.
"Yup." I said, still looking at Pete who took my hand as we walked to Joe's.
"Ohhh, 'love is in the air'!!" Joe sang at me and Pete, we both elbowed him in the gut at the same
time. "Owww!!! That hurt!!" He whimpered and ran to Andy who just laughed at him.
"Then you better learn to shut the fuck up." Patrick said laughing at Joe's fake depressed
expression.

As the others walked into Joe's shed Pete held me back outside.
"Pete..." I said and put my arms around his neck, pushing up on my toes and pulling his lips to
mine. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me back, in that moment the world seemed to
melt and it was just me and him. The second the kiss was broken we sighed and walked inside.

I sat with Pete at a small table as he flicked through my book reading out the lyric's to the
others. He stopped as soon as he reached Sara's lyric's.
"This one is perfect. It was for Sara was'nt it?" He asked, I nodded. On a piece of paper he started
joting notes down, "With a little more of this and that... Got it!" He exclaimed.
"Lets hear it then?" I said looking at him.
"You dont mind?" He asked squeezing my hand under the table.
"Nope. Not at all." I smiled.
"Ok then, 'Sour bottle baby girl with eyes the size of baby worlds'." I smiled at him, it was great
and kissed him.
"Thank you." I said and he smiled back at me.
"Wow." Patrick, Joe and Andy all said at the same time.
"What did you think?" I asked.
"Yeah the song was great but how did you calm the Pete?" Joe asked bluntly. I just laughed standing
up, Joe had a tiny kitchen in his shed which only had a few cups, mini fridge and a coffe machine. I
walked into it and got the cups out with the milk and turn the coffe thing on. I was about to walk
back when a hand held me back and covered my mouth, dad. I thrashed around but went dead still when
a cold sharp object was pressed to my throat, he slit it and I fell to the floor knocking a few cups
to the floor.

Pete's P.O.V...

We heard some cups smash in the mini kitchen and we all went in to see what happened. Zoiel was
laying on the floor alive but with her throat slit, her father was standing over her with a knife in
her hand.
"Barstard!" I screamed running at him, he stabbed me in the stomach but I puched him up into his
nose causing the bone to go into his brain, killing him. I fell to the floor next to Zoiel helping
her up and half dragging her into Joe's front yard waiting for the ambulance...

Fall out boy story #6

"W-what.No! Your lying!!" I screamed and ran with Sara up to my room. I slammed the door and slid
down it with Sara crying in my arms. Our mum was dead, someone had killed her just after she won
custordy of us, she had put Uncle Alfred down as legal gurdian if anything were to happen to her.I
was crying so hard that the sobs were racking my whole body. Sara was curled up in my arms crying
almost as much, the only reason I stopped crying was because I had to be strong for her. This was'nt
fair on her she was only four years old and her life was already a tramatic mess.
"I'm so sorry, you deserve better than this." I said looking her right in the eyes, it was the
hardest thing I have ever had to do.

***

I set Sara into her bed and read to her untill she fell asleep, I made sure she had Tela her teddy
and left to go and talk to Auntie Jannet as Uncle Alfred was away on buissness and I had to talk to
someone.
"Zoiel, oh sweet-heart! I'm so sorry!" She came running over to hug me and I held on tight letting
the tears come fast. I had never felt so greatfull that I had someone to talk to. Jannet was the
type of person who tries to make the world better with hugs alone.
When I went to bed I changed into my silk night dress that mum had gotten me with a full months wage
when Sara was two and we were living in a tiny flat and were half starved. It alwways reminded me of
her, so tonight I wore it with pride, she cared for us even when she needed more than us.
Suddenly there was a small knock on my door and Sara came in.
"Can I sleep in here with you Zoiel? Please?" She asked, her small voice cracking half way
through.
"Yeah babeh." I replied and tapped the edge of my bed. She came and curled into my side.
"Where is mummy going?" I felt like I was gonna cry when she asked me that.
"Somewhere safe." I replied looking into her wide eyed bambi stare.
"Will we ever see her again?"
"One day..." She just nodded and fell asleep.

6 days later...

Patrick's P.O.V...

Zoiel was silent all the way to school for the yet enougher day except when she saw Sara off. I was
about to talk to her when the bell rang for the first lesson.

***

I had my second lesson with Pete, Andy and Joe.
"Hey whats up?" Pete asked as he saw my somber expression.
"Its Zoiel." I said to him and his face suddenly turned serious.
"Has something happened to her?" He asked worriedly.
"Kind of... her mum got murdered. Just after she won custordy." I conculded, all three of them had
gone silent.
"Oh my god..." Andy said slowly.
"How is she?" Pete asked.

Pete's P.O.V...

"I dont know, she has'nt spoken to me all day." I had never seen Patrick so sad.
"Well what do we do, I mean do you want her to know you told us?" I asked.
"I dont know. She's smart she'll probably figure it out anyway." He sighed and looked down at his
bottom group french work. Poor girl, I could'nt imagain not having my mum. I mean its not like I
talk to my parents much but still, I love them their my parents.

Zoiel's P.O.V...

I was'nt much interested in my work I just stared at it like I was looking at an alien's
hand-writing. I was glad when the lunch bell rang, but that was quickly diminissed when I realised
Patrick had probably told the others about mum. So I walked down to the office.
"Hey its my favourite smartie!" Kallie the assistant said, even at my lowest that made me laugh.
"Hey Kay, are we aloud to leave school for lunch?" I asked hopefully.
"Yes, but only if your back befor the bell. Why?" She asked.
"I just need to go and see my sister." She nodded understandingly and I headed down to the high
street. I was once again greatfull that mum had shown me around the town. The phone store was a
small little shop on the edge of a street with a big 50% off sign above it.
"Hello what can I do for you today?" A younge teen said from behind the counter.
"Um, yeah I need two phones one for me and one for my little sister, two simple ones please?" I
asked.
"Well do you have a specific colour in mind?"

***
I walked back into school with a small pink phone for Sara and a larger black one for me with both
plugged into speed dial as 1. Just as I walked into my next class the bell went. I went ot sit next
Patrick and I gave him a small smile.
"Are you ok? I mean you did'nt turn up for lunch, so what happened?" He asked looking me right in
the eye.
"I'll show on the way home." I said and he nodded solemly.

***

"So where did you go at lunch?" Patrick asked me as we reached Sara's school.
"To get a phone. One for me and one for Sara." I replied as I leant against the gates of Sara's
school.
"Well lets see them then?" I opened the bag and pulled out Sara's one.
"Wow, she's gonna love it. Its pink." I pulled out mine and handed it to him. "Black..."
"Hey I'm not a steriotypical girl." I said simply and he laughed lightly.
"Zoiel!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sara screamed and flung herself at me. I hugged her for a minute then put her
down.
"Ok, honey listen up." I said and handed her the phone.

***

"Zoiel, I have band practice tonight and we were wondering if you would like to come. I mean we
understand if you dont want to come but I was just thinking that if you came you would see that were
all here for you and Sara." Patrick asked me, I understood why he did'nt ask if Sara wanted to come
as we would be out late and she was only four.
"Yeah, thank you Patrick." I smiled at him and went to tell Auntie Jannet that she would have to
read to Sara tonight. When I walked in I saw Sara cuddling up to Jannet, I smiled to myself and
wrote a note and put it on her dresser as to not disturb them and then leave with Patrick.

***

Their band practice was at Joe's house in a shed at the back of his house. There were drum things,
amplifiers ect... inside.
"Zoe!!!!!" Joe yelled and flung himself at me in a tight bear-hug.
"Joe...I...Cant...Breath!" I stamered and he let go with a guilty smile on his face, next Andy came
and hugged me.
"We all care about you, I mean your a Stump!" He whispered to me. Finnaly Pete came over and hugged
me, which sent an eletric tingle up my spine.
"How are you doing?" He asked into my ear.
"Better now that I have all of you guys." I whispered back and he smiled.

"Well what did you think?" Patrick asked once they had finished playing. I was so amazed that I
could'nt speak.
"I-I-well-yeah... wow." I said amazingly. And that made them all fall into histerics.

***

That night when I went to bed it felt warm and inviting and for the first time that week I felt
safe... and loved.

Fall out boy story #7

I sighed as Melanie and I climbed out of the taxi. Melanie had persuaded me to go to some concert, and I did not think I was going to have fun. I'm not a party girl, or a night-out-on-the-town girl. I'd just as soon order a movie through Netflix instant queue as I would go to the movie theater. I'm a Girls-Night-In kind of girl, and I'm proud to admit it.

Anyway, the only reason I went to this concert was because Melanie nearly cried when I said no. Then she begged and begged for weeks saying “But this is my favorite band!” and “You're the only one I'd want to share this with!” I'm a sucker for a sob story and flattery, so in the end I went. But like I said, I'm not going to have fun. I'm strictly going to keep an eye on her.

“Oh, Heddy here we are!” she was so excited she was literally bouncing up and down on the heels of her feet.

She dressed in black skinny jeans and a t-shirt with a black leather jacket over it. She left her milk chocolate brown hair down, but straightened the bangs so that they hung lower over her eyes. Her makeup really made her green eyes pop, and compared to her I felt a little underdressed. I was wearing regular blue jeans that were a little torn up, along with a t-shirt and a hoodie. I just put my blonde hair up in a ponytail knowing that it's going to be hot as hell in there and left my face makeup-free.

We showed our tickets and went into the club. There was already a pretty large crowd gathering by the stage. And who wouldn't want to launch themselves into a pool of sweaty, germy, human beings? Oh yeah, me. I sighed as Melanie took my arm and steered us in there. In 20 minutes, amazingly we were at the very front, really close to the stage. I was also about to screambecause of all the people pressing up against me and touching me.

Eventually the first band came out, and Melanie looked like she was about to burst with excitement. Is it possible to die of excitement? Melanie is too young to have a heart attack… or is she?

Finally a couple openers later, some band called Panic at the Disco finished their set and they were the ones before this band that we came out to see.

“Hey Chicago!” the lead singer of said band announced. “Are you ready for… FALL OUT BOY!!!”

Melanie screamed along with the hundreds of other fan girls and looked like she was about to faint. I watched her closely, seeing as if she did faint she would probably get trampled.

After Panic at the Disco left the stage it was about ten minutes before this Fall Out Boy came up. They looked like a diverse group of boys, one of them looked distinctly… emo-ish. He had black hair with a fringe that fell into his eyes and dark brown eyes. He was the one I noticed first, but I tried to keep my mind open seeing as I didn't know him and I try not to judge or label people.

After the dark haired and cute “emo” boy walked on another boy came after him. He wore a hat, and had ginger hair and sideburns. Then came a dude with brown curly hair who looked like he was as excited as Melanie was. Melanie screamed when this one came on, he was probably her favorite. Lastly came the drummer, who didn't wear a shirt meaning that we could see all of his tattoos. He also had brown curly hair, but it came down to his shoulders.

“HELLO CHICAGO!” the black-haired one shouted into the microphone, causing all the girls to scream once again.

“How're you doin'? We're Fall Out Boy and we're here to rock the SHIT OUT OF YOU!” this (again) was met with screeches and squeals. The boy walked away from the mic looking pleased and picked up his bass.

They started playing a song that wasn't really my taste, but apparently Melanie loved it.

“They're playing Sugar We're Going Down!!!!” she informed me.

Am I moreeee than you've bargained for yet

I've been dying to tell you anything… you wanna hear…

`cause that's just who I am this week

The singer had a nice voice, which almost made up for the music. I'm more of a classical music type of person.

Melanie was jumping up and down, with me standing there like a complete idiot. She continued her bobbing up and down for half of the song before she noticed that I wasn't doing anything.

“Come on Heddy, dance with me!” She took my hands and forced me to jump up and down with her, feeling like a complete fool. No matter what I did, whether I was standing or dancing, I looked moronic.

This continued for the rest of their set, until they announced that they were ending.

The boy with black hair went back up to his microphone and said “Hey all, this has been fun. But this is our last song for the night. It's a bit of an old one, but we always finish with it. Let's finish this rockin' night with Saturday!”

Melanie looked sad, but she continued to do her wild dancing. I just concentrated on not getting pressed up against the stage like some other people.

The song ended and the lights came back on, and the boys left the stage.

“Melanie, are you ready to go?” I asked her.

“No, let's try to sneak backstage.” She told me with a wild look in her eyes.

“I don't think that's a go-” was all I got out before she took my arm and led me through a hallway. We stopped in the shadows as we saw a security guard, but pretty soon someone else was trying to sneak in, causing him to turn his attention away from us and towards his right. Whoever it was looked like they weren't going to take no for an answer and started thrashing and kicking the guard to get backstage.

Melanie and I took this opportunity and snuck backstage when the guard wasn't looking. We wandered around for a while before we stopped at a door that read:

FALL OUT BOY DRESSING AREA

“Oh my gosh, Heddy! This is them! I can finally meet Joe…” she said dreamily.

“Okay, okay you've had your little tour. Now let's go.” I was getting antsy and just wanted to leave and read my book at home after taking a long shower.

“Are you crazy? We're going in.” she said and turned the door knob, opening the door and revealing the boys from on stage.

But what Melanie couldn't see but I could was the guard turning his head and running at us. He reached us just a moment after Melanie opened the door. He grabbed both of us by our arms and asked the boys “Were these fans bothering you?”

“I'm not a fan” I mumbled under my breath. This seemed to catch the black haired boy's attention.

“It's okay Maurice, they can stay.” The black-haired boy said. His band mates all turned and looked at him like he was insane.

`Maurice' the guard let us go and I fell to the floor, seeing as I didn't have a warning that I'd have to start supporting my own weight again. The dark haired boy came over and helped me up.

“I remember you.” He told me. “You're the one who stood there and looked like she didn't like our wonderful music.”

“Like I said, I'm not a fan. I came here because she,” I nodded my head towards Melanie. “begged me to go. I don't really like your music either.”

“Alright, fair enough. I'm Pete.” He said holding out his hand. I shook it and he turned and introduced his band members.

“Patrick is the one in the hat, Joe is the one who looks like he just swallowed a coffee shop's worth of caffeine, and Andy is the shy drummer.”

After Pete was done with the introductions I turned and looked at Melanie. She was giving me a death glare that clearly read `We'll talk about this later.' Once Melanie was done glaring at me she went over and started talking to Joe. She pulled a sharpie out of her pocket and convinced him to sign her shirt.

“So, you said that you don't like our music.” Pete said, trying to start a conversation with me. Wait, wait, wait, aren't the people who just broke in backstage supposed to be the ones trying to get the band members to talk to them?

“Yeah, I like classical music. With pianos and violins and stuff.” When I said piano and violins I air played them.

“Wow, that's like the opposite end of the spectrum.” Pete said while laughing. I nodded, still keeping a close eye on Melanie. It looks like she and Joe are hitting it off, obviously talking about their set tonight.

“So, I didn't catch your guy's names.” He said.

“I'm Heddy and she's Melanie.” I told him.

“Heddy? Is that short for something?”

“Yeah, my real name is Hedwig. Like Harry Potter's owl. But I'd like to say that I was here first.” I told him.

He laughed. “Well, would you girls like to see our tour bus?” Pete offered. I shrugged while Melanie looked like she was about to black out.

“Holy crap, yes!” she finally squealed. I smiled at her and followed the boys out of the back door of the venue. There was a huge bus there, which Pete, Patrick, Andy and Joe went inside. We went in too before the door closed.

The first area was something like a living room, there was a long couch on one end with a shelf behind it. In front of the couch, mounted to the wall, was a television with a Wii and an Xbox hooked up to it. Patrick, Andy and Joe slumped down on the couch. Pete remained standing and led us into the next section of the bus which was apparently the sleeping quarters.

There were four bunks built into the walls with curtains to give the inhabitant privacy. I curiously pulled one open and saw a built in light on top and a flap to put stuff in, quite like the ones on the back of airplane chairs.

“Cozy.” Melanie said and gave Pete a quick smile.

“They're actually quite comfortable.” Pete said.

We then followed him farther down the bus and stopped. On one side was a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and some counter space. On the other side was what was probably the bathroom. The bus finished off with a little round breakfast nook with a built in couch and a table in front of it.

“I could spend a couple of months here.” I said to myself.

“Eh, it gets kind of monotonous sometimes. But I love playing music, so I can deal.” Pete said while shrugging his shoulders.

We went back to where the other boys were and found them playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

“Oh, sweet I love this game!” I said and picked up the fourth controller. I totally whipped their butts. Melanie had seen me at work on this game a million times, but the boys seemed genuinely impressed.

“You've gotta hand it to her, the girl knows how to brawl.” Joe said after a couple of rounds.

“You bet your sweet ass I do.” I told him with a smirk.

“Hey, if anybody has a sweet ass it's me.” Pete argued.

I laughed and picked up my ringing cell phone. I didn't recognize the caller ID, but I had a feeling that it was important so I picked up anyway.

“Hello?” I curiously asked.

“Is this Hedwig McGuire?” a female professional voice asked.

“This is she.”

“Just a few hours ago your house was burnt down…” the lady continued to talk but my mind went into a state of horrific shock as the words traveled from my ear to my brain.

“Wait, wait, wait. My house? No way.” I said nervously. The boys and Melanie were looking at me with concern but I turned my face away to give myself a little more privacy.

“Yes, ma'am. The firefighters determined that you had faulty wiring which then caused the fire. The firefighters were unable to save your house.” I couldn't believe this. I was homeless. And so was Melanie since we lived together.

“Thank you for informing me.” I told the person as calmly and cheerfully as I could. I then hung up and turned around to tell Melanie the bad news.

“Melanie?” I started timidly.

“Yeah, Heddy?”

“We're homeless. Our house just burnt down.”

Her face turned into the same expression that I was probably wearing just a few moments ago.

“A-are you sure?” she stuttered.

I nodded my head.

“What on Earth are we going to do?” she cried. The room was silent for a moment before Pete spoke up.

“Well… you could tour with us.” He suggested. I stared at him.

“Would you let us?” I asked.

“Yeah, you could sell merch at our concerts and save up the money so that when we come back to Chicago in 3 months you'll have enough to rent an apartment.”

I thought about it and looked at Melanie. It seemed like an okay plan, certainly better than living on the streets. I barely had enough savings to rent a 1 bedroom apartment right now, let alone an apartment big enough for the both of us. Melanie nodded at me and I turned back to Pete.

“Okay, but where are we going to sleep?” I said with a smile on my face.

“The bunks are big enough that we can probably double up.” Patrick piped in.

“Heddy is such a cuddle bug. Who wants to pair up with her?” Melanie said with a sly grin on her face. She was obviously trying to get me and Pete together.

“I don't mind. I have a dog, I'm used to things cuddling up to me.” Pete answered.

I rolled my eyes. “What about Melanie?”

“I say that she just picks a random bunk and whoever she picks she had to double up with.” Andy suggested.

I yawned and agreed. I looked down at my watch and was surprised that it was already midnight.

“Do you guys wanna hit the hay?” I asked the boys and Melanie. They all nodded and yawned. I looked down at my outfit.

“Um… does anyone have any spare pajama pants?” I asked. There was no way I would be able to sleep in jeans.

“Yeah, I do.” Pete answered.

I followed him into the bunk area and waited for him as he dug out a pair of green plaid pants. I slipped into the bathroom and changed, keeping my shirt on. I was surprised that the pants fit my waist and only dragged on the ground a little bit.

I went back to the bunk area and saw Melanie in an oversized tee that she probably borrowed from one of the boys. She looked around at each of the four bunks and climbed into one nervously. I had to get details about who she got tomorrow.

I climbed into the bunk that I remembered as Pete's and saw him wearing a blue version of the pajama pants that he gave me, but no shirt on.

“Is it true about you being all cuddly?” he asked me with a grin as I laid down.

“Yeah, so sorry in advance.” I smiled back at him. He really was cute, with his hair dipping into his eye line and his deep chocolate brown eyes staring at me. His arms were decorated with tattoos, too.

“It's okay, I don't mind cuddling.” We laid down together and he wrapped his arms around me. I sighed with relief. It was kind of cold on the bus and I pressed my freezing nose against his neck. Once my nose was all warmed up again I buried my face into his chest, grateful for the comfort he provided. Our legs were all tangled together and his head was leaning against mine.

I fell asleep immediately, what with the events of the day and the warm arms around me.

~Pete's POV~

I stared at Heddy a while before I was able to get to sleep. Her blond wavy hair that fell down to halfway down her back was so soft and smelled like Raspberries. Her tired brown eyes were closed and her small mouth was slightly open as she fell asleep. It was a long time before I could tear my eyes away from her and close them to go to sleep.

~Heddy's POV~

I slid into a dream that was both weird and confusing. In the dream I was running away on a blue brick path, but the bricks under me never moved and I stayed where I was. Then over my shoulder I saw a huge green fire racing toward me. I tried as hard as I could to move, but no matter how fast I ran I just stayed where I was. As the fire got closer I heard my name being shouted again and again. Just as I was about to be engulfed by the fire I woke up.

“Heddy? Are you alright?” Apparently it was Pete who was saying my name over and over again.

“Bad dream.” I cried into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me tighter and stroked my hair with one hand.

He held me for a little while before I had the courage to look up into his eyes.

“Thanks for everything. Showing us the bus, taking us in, everything.”

“No problem. As long as you two don't turn out to be a pair of homicidal axe-wielding psychopaths we're fine with helping you guys out.” He smiled at me.

I blushed and just gazed into his eyes for a few moments before the curtain was pulled open by Melanie.

“Come on, sleepy heads. The bus stopped and Heddy and I have to go buy clothes and bathroom stuff.” She told us. She wasn't the least bit fazed that she had just seen us cuddling and staring into each other's eyes.

I sighed and untangled myself from Pete before jumping down. This was going to be a good opportunity to bug her about details from her night.

Fall out boy story #8

I changed into my outfit from yesterday and went outside the bus to
where Melanie was waiting for me.

``Okay, so spill. Who did you get?'' I was about to burst from not
knowing.

``Joe! Can you believe it? We've had the best luck in the world lately.
Well, except for the house burning down... but that's kind of a blessing
in disguise. `Cause otherwise you would've never been able to snuggle
with Pete.''

Apparently the bus had stopped at a Target, so we walked on in, grabbed
a basket, and headed for the clothes section.

``Why do you want me with Pete so bad?'' I was sincerely dumbfounded.
Usually Melanie stayed out of my love life, and I hers.

``'Cause he wants you! I noticed that the moment we stepped into that
backstage room.''

``You're crazy. Okay, now give me the details about Joe.'' I said while
looking at the jeans.

~Melanie's POV~

I nervously went into the bunk on my left, hoping to all ends that it
was Joe.

``Hey,'' my bunkie said. I took a closer look and saw that it was
indeed, Joe.

``Hiya!'' I told him joyfully. I lay down next to him, turning my face
towards the curtain.

``Do you mind I get closer to you? This bus if freezing.'' Joe murmured
in my ear.

``I don't mind, it is really cold.'' I replied happily. Joe then curled
around me and draped his arm over my waist. I put my arm on top of his
and pressed my cold toes against his leg.

``Yah! Your toes are freezing!'' he said in my ear.

``Sorry, you're just so warm.'' I giggled.

``It's okay. Good night, Melanie.'' He whispered in my ear.

``Good night, Joe.'' I sleepily mumbled.

~Heddy's POV~

``Is that it? Joe spooned you?'' I asked her as we were in the dressing
room. I was trying to find my size jeans.

``Yeah, and it was wonderful.'' She replied dreamily as I finally found
the perfect pair.

I exited the dressing room and went back to the jeans rack. I got 3 more
pairs of jeans and then went over to look at their t-shirts. I picked
out 8 good quality shirts then got a jacket and two hoodies before I
went over to look at underwear. Melanie met me at the bra display and we
picked out 6 each. When it came to underwear we really stocked up, each
getting enough underwear to last us 2 weeks.

We also got some formal-ish dresses and shoes since Pete said that we
sometimes go out to dinner at really fancy places.

``Well, what about you and Pete?'' Melanie asked as we went over to look
at toothbrushes.

``What about us?'' I mumbled as I picked out a toothbrush and some
toothpaste.

``I saw you cuddling, but did you do anything else?'' she asked me.

``No, I've only known him for less than I day.'' I told her.

``Did he try to do anything else?'' she asked, getting all defensive
over me.

``No, but he did comfort me when I woke up from my nightmare.'' I told
her.

``Aw, that's sweet.'' She said as she got us two hair brushes. ``Can I
come to your wedding?''

``What! No, I don't even know if we're going anywhere with this!'' I
said, shocked that she went that far.

``Come on Heddy, he obviously likes you.'' She said. By now we had
gotten all of our bathroom stuff and we're going over to get ourselves
two backpacks to keep all of our shit in.

``How do you know?'' I asked her.

``Well, let's see. He saved you from security, he couldn't keep his eyes
off you, he tried to talk to you a lot, he offered to take you in when
your house burned down, and he cuddled with you. How much more evidence
do you want?''

I didn't say anything as I picked us out two black backpacks. We went on
over to the checkout lines, getting in the first one I saw.

``Well, like I said, I don't know if I'm taking this anywhere.''

``Alright, but don't forget to invite me to the wedding.''

We went back on the bus and found the boys all sprawled out, looking
absolutely bored to death.

Mel and I put our stuff away, and came back out to hang with them. I sat
next to Pete who was sprawled out on the couch and put my feet up on the
table.

``We need a game to play,'' I mumbled.

``I know! How about Truth or Dare?'' Melanie suggested. The boys all
perked up at this.

``Who wants to go first?'' Pete asked.

``I'll go!'' Joe answered. ``Andy, truth or dare?''

Andy pondered this for a moment before saying ``Dare.''

``I dare you to drink a glass of water while standing up on your head.''
Joe told him with a malicious grin on his face.

You've got to give it to Andy, he sure tried. But gravity was just
against him today and he fell down and spilled the water all over his
shirt. We all laughed as Andy gingerly got back up and sat on the couch.

``Pete, truth or dare?'' Andy challenged.

``Truth.''

``Have you ever eaten a bug for a dare?''

``Yeah, when I was ten.'' He admitted. ``It tastes a bit like chicken.''
He said to me and laughed at my `yuck' face.

``Okay, Melanie truth or dare?''

``Dare!'' she said eagerly.

``I dare you to go make me a Hot Pocket.''

``That's not a dare,'' she said disappointedly.

``No it's not, but I'm hungry.'' He grinned.

When Melanie came back we started back up again.

``Patrick, truth or dare?''

``Dare.''

``I dare you to sing `Sugar We're Going Down'.'' She said joyfully.

``You guys make up some pitiful dares.'' He mumbled before singing us a
few lines.

``Heddy, truth or dare?''

``Dare.''

``I dare you to battle me on Brawl as Kirby.''

``Fine, but I'll still kick your ass. And it'll be even funnier because
it'll be a cute little pink blob kicking your ass.''

``We'll see.'' He smiled.

He tried, but my powers are nothing to be messed with. I KO'd him in a
matter of minutes.

``Pete, truth or dare?''

``Dare,''

``I dare you to do a one-handed push-up for us.''

He got on the ground and grinned at me before getting into push-up
position and doing a (very pitiful) one-handed push-up.

``Joe, truth or dare?''

``Truth.''

``Is it true that your first girlfriend had a mustache?''

``IT WAS NOT A MUSTACHE!!!'' Joe bellowed at Pete before pummeling him
with a pillow from the couch.

Pete and Joe laughed and messed around with each other before Joe went
back to sitting next to Melanie.

``Trust me, that mustache was as filled out as Mario's.'' I laughed at
that as Joe gave Pete a menacing glare.

``Melanie, truth or dare?''

``Truth, please. These dares are boring.''

``Is it true that you were held back in kindergarten?''

``How did you guess! But nap time was hard for me, okay?'' she giggled.

``Okay, Heddy. Truth or dare?''

``Dare.'' I was feeling mischievous.

``I dare you to make-out with Pete.'' She said boldly as Pete and I
gaped at her.

``Go on, it's a dare.'' She said while waving her hands.

Pete put his arm around my waist and awkwardly pulled me closer while
cupping my face with his other hand. He gently pressed his lips to mine
and I reached up and twisted my hands in his hair. We moved our lips
together and Pete moved his arm back down to the small of my back and
pulled me onto his lap. He licked my lower lip and I opened my mouth,
deepening the kiss. We gasped as we twirled our tongues together. Pete
pressed me closer to him and I twisted my hands deeper into his hair.

We completely forgot about our audience as Pete pushed me down onto the
couch, never disconnecting the kiss. He still had his arms around my
waist as I moved my arms down to around his neck.

``Okay, okay. I said make-out, not sex.'' Melanie interrupted us. We
blushed and sat back up, still breathing a little heavily. I had no idea
what had happened, the kiss started out so sweet. When did it turn so
fierce? And when did I start liking it?

Joe gave Pete a thumbs-up and we blushed deeper. We quickly finished the
truth-or-dare game and returned to our favorite past-time: Brawl.

This time I let Melanie play as I sat next to Pete and tried to help
him. His skills were nothing compared to mine, but he maintained a
steady 2nd streak. 1st place was usually Joe or Patrick but Melanie got
it once when Joe, Patrick and Pete accidentally blew themselves up.

We were all laughing and giggling and having a great time when the bus
driver came back and told us that we were at the hotel that we were
staying at tonight. We turned off the Wii and gathered our stuff.

The driver had already checked us in and told us that we had rooms 430,
431, and 432. Patrick and Pete roomed in 430, Andy and Joe got 431, and
Mel and I got 432. We all went up to the 4th floor together and I
dropped my stuff on my bed. I heard a knock on our door and went to go
get it, finding Pete there.

``Hey, we're going out to eat tonight so you may want to dress up.'' He
told me.

``Thanks, I'll relay to message to Mel.'' I smiled at him.

I closed the door and turned around to find Mel laying on her bed
giggling.

``What's up?'' I asked her.

``IT'S A QUEEN SIZE BED!'' she told me, falling into complete hysterics.
Yeah, her and Joe ``the-most-random-dude-on-the-planet'' Trohman are
perfect for each other.

``Okay, well Pete just told me that we need to dress up because we're
going to go out to dinner tonight.''

She suddenly got a fierce expression on her face.

``Okay, we both need showers and we need to do our hair and makeup. I'll
take my shower first because I don't take long to shower but I take
forever on my hair and makeup. Then you go because you take forever in
the shower but you do your hair and non-existent makeup like that,'' she
snapped her fingers.

``Um, actually will you do my makeup for me when I'm done with my
hair?'' I kind of wanted to impress Pete, but I'd never tell her that.
She would start making plans for our wedding, and suggesting baby names
and what type of house we should buy.

``Okie dokie!'' she called over her shoulder as she went into the
bathroom with her dress. I sighed and fell onto my bed, waiting for her
to get out of the shower. I started thinking about Pete again, and our
kiss this afternoon. I thought about what it was like to have his arms
around me and the feeling of his warm, soft lips on mine.

I heard the shower stop, and I gathered my dress and went in there to
start my shower.

Seeing as we were roommates, best friends, and girls Melanie and I have
seen each other naked on other occasions so it was no big deal when I
walked in and she was wrapped up in a towel.

I slid into the warm water and was extremely grateful for this
opportunity to wash away all this sweat and dirt. When I slid out again
Melanie was in her green strapless number that accented all of her
curves and features. She was busy curling her hair and I wrapped myself
in my towel.

I picked up the hair-dryer and brush to start working on my hair. When I
was halfway done Mel started on her makeup. Mel was always more feminine
than me, but she was always jealous of my blonde hair. I loved her green
eyes and didn't like my brown ones. We fit together perfectly, like two
puzzle pieces.

Mel finished her makeup at the same exact time I was done with my hair.

``Okay, now to work on you.'' She said, pulling out more tubes and
bottles and liquids from her makeup case. I nervously sat down on the
counter while she buzzed around me, telling me to open my eyes, close my
eyes, pucker, relax, smack my lips, and a bunch of other things. When
she was done she stepped back and admired her work.

``You can look now.'' She said smiling.

I nervously hopped off the counter and turned to look at myself in the
mirror.

She gave me that smoky eye look that I always admired on her, and kept
my lips a nice and light pink. She put a little blush on my cheeks and
all in all... I looked damn good.

``Wow, thanks Mel.'' I told her nervously. She just shrugged and started
putting her stuff back in her case.

``All I did was accent what you already had goin' for ya.'' She informed
me. I smiled again at myself in the mirror, but had to tear my eyes away
when I heard a knock and went to go get the door.

``Hey, Heddy.'' Andy greeted me. ``Pete, Patrick and Joe are already
downstairs. Are you guys ready?''

``Yep, we're good to go for something golden.'' Melanie winked at him.

Pete, Patrick and Joe were indeed waiting for us in the lobby.

I'm very happy to say that Pete's jaw opened slightly when he saw me get
off the elevator in my deep purple dress that fell about mid-thigh and
was decorated with plum colored silk flowers.

``Y-you look great, Heddy.'' He told me. I blushed at the compliment and
we went outside to find a limo waiting for us.

Pete wasn't kidding when he said that we were going to a fancy place.
There was a grand chandelier hanging from the ceiling and the wallpaper
looked like it was worth more than my house.

We walked up to the host's desk where we found our reservation. We were
led to a table of 6 and given menus.

``Hello, my name is Jason and I'll be your waiter this evening.'' He
looked around the table, and was I imagining things or did his eyes
waver on me a little longer than everyone else? ``Do you guys know what
you'd like to drink?''

``I'd like Coke, please.'' Pete started.

``Make that two,'' I added.

``Sprite, please.'' Melanie added.

``Root beer.'' Joe ordered.

``Just water, please.'' Andy told the waiter.

``I'll have a Dr. Pepper.'' Patrick was last.

``Right, I'll bring those out to you in just a moment.'' He smiled
warmly at me.

I felt Pete stiffen at my side, but ignored it and smiled politely back
to the waiter.

``So, where are we?'' Melanie asked. That was actually a good question.

Patrick stared up at the ceiling thoughtfully. ``I think we're in Fargo,
North Dakota. At least that's what I remembered from going over the tour
dates.''

``And you guys are playing a show tomorrow?'' I asked Pete.

``Yeah, but before we have to go backstage I'll show you two the merch
booth.''

``And we just sell t-shirts and cds and stuff?''

``Uh-huh.''

By now Jason was back with our drinks.

``Are you guys ready to order?''

``I'll have the New York strip steak.'' I said, passing my menu back to
Jason.

``I'd like a slice of your lasagna.'' Melanie ordered.

``I'll take your cheeseburger.'' Pete told him.

``I'll have the Butternut Tofu stuffed shells from the Vegan part of the
menu.'' Andy said.

``I'd like your Chicken Parmesan.'' Patrick ordered.

``And I'll take the Spaghetti.'' Joe said last.

``I'll have your food out momentarily.'' Jason told us after taking
everyone's menu.

It wasn't long after that that Jason came back out with our food, taking
two trips to get all 6 dishes out.

``Please enjoy your meal.'' He told us.

Pete snorted.

``What?'' I asked him.

``I don't like our waiter.''

``He's not our waiter, he's Jason.''

``Fine, I don't like Jason.'' He said snidely.

``What's your problem tonight? You're acting really bitchy!'' I finally
burst out.

``I'm acting bitchy? Why don't you go talk about it to Jason.'' Pete
huffed at me. I rolled my eyes and left my food to go to the bar.

I sighed and ordered a drink while I tried to figure out what the hell
was up with Pete. He was fine when we were at the hotel...

``Fancy meeting you here.'' A voice came from my right. I looked over
and saw Jason sitting there, dressed out of his waiter clothes.

``Hey Jason, aren't you on your shift?''

``No, I just got off. I thought I'd come over here and keep you
company.'' He told me.

``Oh, okay.'' I said my mind still on Pete.

~Pete's POV~

I could see Heddy at the bar, talking to that sleazy Jason. I don't know
why she's talking to him. I sighed and turned back to my food. Pretty
soon we were all done and ready to leave. I looked over and saw that
Heddy was laughing with Jason and a pain went through my chest. I went
over to tell her we were leaving when I saw Jason put his hand on her
knee. I stopped in my tracks and turned around, she can surely find her
own way back to the hotel.

~Heddy's POV~

I looked over to the table to find that it was now occupied by other
people, my friends left!

``Hey, would you mind driving me back to my hotel? I need to be getting
back there.'' I told Jason.

``What's the rush, baby?'' he said, moving his hand farther up my leg. I
stood up and turned around before he could say anything else and caught
a cab outside. I paid the cab with some money that I had left over from
buying our stuff at Target and went inside the hotel. I quickly found
our room and saw that Melanie was already passed out on the queen size
bed she was giggling about earlier. I glanced at the clock and was
shocked that it was already past 11.

I changed into my pj's and climbed into the other bed. I tossed and
turned for a few hours before I finally realized why I couldn't sleep. I
sleepily stumbled out of bed and went next door to Patrick and Pete's
room. I knocked on the door for what seemed like forever before Pete
came and answered.

``Can't sleep.'' I murmured before going into his arms. He sighed and
took me into his bed.

``What happened to Jason?'' he asked after we were all snuggly with me
against his chest and his arms around me.

``He's no you.'' I mumbled. This seemed to be enough for Pete and he
sighed and stroked my hair as I drifted to sleep.
